LoveLoud is how we express our desire to love our city in tangible ways. This takes on various form throughout the year including service days, culture care events and a micor-grant program for arts.
Numerous times throughout the year we will organize opportunities to serve our city through park clean-ups, Thanksgiving for newcomers, feeding the homeless and partnering with other organizations to help with the great work they do. We often serve along side the Staircase Theatre helping with indoor and outdoor maintenance, New Hope Community Bikes and Mission Services where we facilitate a weekly bread delivery to the men' shelter.
Culture Care Events
We believe that culture is important, and that nurturing culture is a significant role we can play in loving our city. One way we aim to do this is by hosting Culture Care Events at which we feature local visual artists and photographers, invite local musicians to play and spend an evening celebrating and supporting those who create and bring beauty to our community.
We are currently in the process of beginning a micro-grant program through which to better encourage and support the arts and artists in our city. By providing small grants to local artists we hope to help new and younger artists be able to get new projects off the ground.
